The contemporary design of the Los Angeles AFB Fitness Center features an exterior clad in metal panels and honed concrete masonry units, with three arched standing seam metal roofs, all of which are exposed on the interior. Two glass-walled racquetball courts are adjacent to the main entry along a central corridor system linking all of the various activity areas together. The gymnasium features a full-length basketball court, two cross-courts, a volleyball court, retractable glass backboards and bleachers, along with maple hardwood floors.
