| The
Lockheed Martin/Technology Ventures Corporation building consists
of offices and training areas utilized in technology transfer ventures
between Sandia national Laboratories, the D. O. E., and various
private corporations. The building is equipped with 14’0” floor-to-floor
heights to enable technological flexibility. Numerous conference
rooms are equipped with teleconferencing capabilities. The project
was completed in one year from design to opening on a fast track
design/build schedule. The structure is noted for its dramatic
curved glass two-story entry, copper cladding, and presence as
a gateway building to the University of New Mexico’s technology
park. |

“The Studio SW design is functional, and more importantly,
artistically innovative: it is a grand symbol for TVC. The rapid
completion of the building, in less than a year, did not in any way
interfere with the creativity of design, quality of materials, and
energetic assistance provided during construction.”
Sherman McCorkle, President, Technology Ventures Corporation.
