The
Navajo Nation Museum, Library, and Visitor’s Center is a
contemporary architectural expression of an ancient and enduring
culture. Design
solutions were developed in collaboration with the Navajo Advisory
Committee, resulting in a rich palette of symbolic materials, directional
orientations, and reverence to nature associated with the Navajo.
In addition to the library, theater, administrative, and cultural
spaces within the interior, the project features an outdoor amphitheater
for performances and community gatherings.
