The
Wheelwright Museum expansion and renovation provides an entirely
new collections and research component for one of the country’s
preeminent museums dedicated to Native American arts and culture.
Project objectives were to maintain the integrity of the original
historic structure while providing expanded facilities and handicap
accessibility. Natural stone, tinted concrete, and custom woodworking
reinforce connections to nature and a sense of timelessness.
