JICARILLA APACHE ADMINISTRATION CAPITAL BUILDING

Dulce, New Mexico

The Jicarilla Apache Administration Capital Building is a 70,000 sf administrative center which serves as a “one stop shop” for all Jicarilla Tribal Government activities.  The building is designed around a two story lobby envisioned as the “living room” for the Tribal members.  From this lobby, all services for can be accessed.  At the western end of the lobby is a 75 seat Tribal Council Chambers with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.  The design of the building is the result of numerous work sessions with members of the Jicarilla Tribe.

The entire building is equipped with voice/data/communications wiring.  Several servers are located throughout the facility.  A 3,000 sf Archival Storage basement is incorporated in the design.
