Robert Gerard Heiser, AIA
SENIOR PRINCIPAL
Robert Gerard Heiser is a founding partner of Studio Southwest Architects and has over 30 years of experience in architecture, planning and interiors.
Robert received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 1979 from the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. and a Master of Architecture from the University of New Mexico School in 2003 and has taught at the University of New Mexico School of Architecture and it’s summer architectural program in Lugano, Switzerland since 2001. Robert has an extensive background in Planning and served as a Planning Commissioner on the Environmental Planning Commission (EPC) for the City of Albuquerque from 1994 to 2000, the Bernalillo Extraterritorial Planning Commission from 1997 to 2000, and is currently a commissioner on the Landmarks and Urban Conservation Commission (LUCC) for the City of Albuquerque.
Robert has a wide range of design experience at Studio Southwest Architects and is actively involved in a design and oversight role on architectural, interiors and planning projects.
