The Paseo Nuevo Office Complex is a class A, LEED certified (pending) 123,000 s.f. office complex in the Paseo Del Norte corridor. Building layout and design was chosen strategically to take advantage of the views of the Sandia Mountains. The building is located along the street (San Pedro) to promote pedestrian access, enhance the streetscape, and buffer the adjacent residents from the 5 story presence of the office complex.
The site slopes from east to west and the design utilizes this slope to lessen the impact on the neighborhood to the east. By placing the building on the far west portion of the site and establishing the first floor level at the west street grade, the upper deck parking enters the building on the second floor which is below the grade of the residential properties to the east, thereby fully screening the parking from residential view.
