In expanding their banking services to Rio Rancho, Century Bank has built a new 13,500 sf two-story energy efficient office building. The new building houses a full-service branch bank, along with leasable office space on both levels. The banking facility includes four drive-up lanes and one drive-up ATM lane. The intention of the building design is to maximize the efficiency of the unique lot shape and location, while providing a model for the integration of energy conservation thorough design. As a landmark feature, a clock tower faces west defining the public edge of the building and a second floor garden roof deck to take advantage of the mountain views to the east.

The Century Bank Rio Rancho is built to LEED Gold standards with an emphasis on high energy efficiency and green materials. Features include a state of the art mechanical system, solar photovoltaic system, water harvesting system, green garden roof, solar shading and plenty of windows to utilize natural light during working hours. The building is clad in locally quarried stone and pollution neutralizing composite metal panels.
