SANTA FE COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY COMPLEX
Santa Fe, New MexicoA 34,800 square foot building comprised of Sheriff’s Office, Fire Department Administrative Offices, Fire Station and Fire/Sheriff Emergency Dispatch functions. The building is located on approximately 6 acres near the existing Santa Fe County Jail. The project houses over 60 sheriff’s department staff and 35 fire department staff. The project contains vehicular capacity for 6 fire trucks and service bays. The Santa Fe County Public Safety Complex is part of a larger land area acquired by the County for similar facilities. Site design included a separate master plan, which addressed the needs of this facility along with future functions.
Special systems include: Emergency Operations/Sheriff and Fire Dispatch Center, full building card access system, CCTV surveillance, secure and separate networks for police and fire departments, secure evidence vault and weapons repair center. Studio SW was responsible for 100% design services from programming through bid award, and provided construction administration services.
