Eric Haskins received a bachelor of environmental design degree from Texas A&M in 1998 and a master of architecture degree from the University of New Mexico in 2010. Eric is well-known in Albuquerque’s architectural community and has been refining his experience in retail, hospitality, medical, historic renovation, and adaptive reuse design projects for decades. As a Principal at Studio Southwest Architects, he will elevate the firm’s values of growth and design excellence with unwavering dedication.

Eric is interested in environmental sustainability, product design, resourcefulness, materials, art, public space, and placemaking. He teaches an Alternative Materials and Construction course at the University of New Mexico’s School of Architecture and Planning, where students work together to build a rammed earth chair.
