NEW MEXICO REHABILITATION CENTER

The New Mexico Rehabilitation Center, operated by the State of New Mexico Department of Health, consists of the design and construction of a new rehabilitation facility, built adjacent to the Health Science Center Building on the campus of Eastern New Mexico University in Roswell, New Mexico.  The primary focus for the hospital is mental health, substance abuse treatment, detoxification and medical rehabilitation.   As a 43 bed specialty hospital, the center also houses physical and occupational outpatient services.

User groups changed during the design of the project, so maintaining open communication lines and updating needs of stakeholders was an ongoing process.  By keeping everyone informed, we were able to manage the project and the changing expectations while successfully completing the design.
