The Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute is a 72,400 sf three-story laboratory research facility with associated office and support space. Lovelace Institute houses several major Department of Defence funded medical/biological research programs associated with bio-terrorism, toxicology, gas inhalation, bacteriological research, pharmacology, etc. This state-of-the-art medical research laboratory facility contains 39 biomedical, forensic and general chemistry research labs ranging in size from 600 sf to 1,800 sf.
